As Biography
L. PAUL MANN
I moved to Santa Barbara, Ca. to attend Brooks Institute of Photography. As an avid surfer I quickly fell in love with the area, especially Rincon Point, one of the ten best waves in the world. I graduated with a double major in Motion Picture Production and Undersea Photo technology. I worked in a variety of photography related jobs and then worked in the film industry for ten years. I returned to Santa Barbara to pursue a career in video production. I produced shows and commercials for local television. I also produced corporate, special event and travel videos. In addition, I started working as a VJ at the Wildcat Lounge, Santa Barbara's number 1 dance club, where I mix lights and live art video to the music.
My photos have appeared in over 500 publications worldwide. In the last decade I have devoted more time to journalism and writing. Click here to see my concert and music reviews that have been featured in local, regional, national, and international publications.
